The use of smartwatches is now increasing to get various information to keep the body fit. Chinese company ZTE has unveiled a new smartwatch as a fitness device keeping in mind the smartwatch users.
The new smartwatch with color display has been released in China but may soon reach other parts of the world. A special feature of this smartwatch is its battery life. ZTE claims that their Watch Live smartwatch will have a battery life of up to 21 days on a single charge.
The ZTE Watch Live smartwatch will have 12 sports modes and IP-6 certification. That is, it will be water and dust resistant. It will also have special sensors to measure heart rate throughout the day. It will also feature tracker sensors and machine learning algorithms for sleep monitoring.
The ZTE smartwatch is priced at 249 yuan or 3,200 rupees in the Chinese market. The smartwatch will be available in the Chinese market from next December.
The smartwatch has a 1.3-inch TFP display and touch support. Optical sensors are also being added to monitor the amount of oxygen in the blood. It will have Bluetooth 4.2 connection for wireless connection. Phone and message notifications will be available in real time if connected to a smartphone that supports it. Music control and remote camera can be controlled with the smartwatch.
ZTE said their smartwatch will have a changeable color wristband. Once charged, the smartwatch will last 14 to 21 days. It will support fast charging. It can be run all day with a 5 minute charge. This smartwatch weighs only 35.8 grams.
